Ingredients: genmaicha (green tea & toasted rice)
Directions: Steep 1 teaspoon of tea in freshly boiled water for 5 to 10 minutes.

This was a nice nutty blend of genmaicha. This was the first genmaicha I’ve tried and, even though I love the theming, I don’t think this style of tea is for me.

I found this to be a very interesting savory tea. Lovely toasted flavor. I really enjoyed this one.

I’ve never had this kind of tea before at all. The toasted rice gives a bit of almost burnt flavor, which goes nicely with the subtle flavor of green tea.
